People often ask me if I took wood shop in school or if I've always known how to do this stuff but the truth is I discovered a love for woodworking only a few years ago! It started as a hobby to fill my spare time with and give myself a creative outlet, but before I knew it I was being asked to make all kinds of things for friends and family. I learned a lot during this time but mostly learned how much I loved making something that uniquely benefited someone. Whether cabinets for the small nook in the laundry room or bookshelves for a wall that wasn't being used, I realized that making something that suited that persons needs and aesthetics was way more fun and satisfying than making the same cutting board again and again. I never intended to make money with this hobby, let alone turn it into a legitimate business, but here we are!
